Spaceshot Recovery designs all aspects of the recovery system for both the IREC rocket and the high-altitude attempt rocket. We research and design the parachute, drogue system, deployment mechanisms, ejection system, z-ties, and more. We work with Avionics to integrate our system into the avionics stack and with Structures to pack our system in the airframes. This year, we will have an SRAD altimeters subteam, in which we will be designing and manufacturing our own altimeters!
